What a weekend!!!
I needed better weather. Friday Yuri was home from school with Strep, but by Saturday he was ready to go!
Saturday he had his final practice and the next three Saturdays he will be having basketball games. It is fun to watch him. He seriously lacks some coordination, but is willing to try his best. We bought him an adjustable basketball goal for her at home, and put it together on Saturday.
My mom had lunch of ham and beans. All my people were in Heaven, me not so much. We finished the basketball goal up after lunch and then messed around playing in the yard until supper.
Today we woke up and my brother came to say goodbye. He is heading for a 14 month or more tour to Afghanistan. We are neither good at goodbyes and my heart hurts. He leaves the US on March 21st or so.
We took the net off the pond, and put a pump in to get ready for spring.
Then we went to the new Menards in Princeton. We are going to make an addition to the playset from Hell. :) Cause it can never be too big or have too many fun things to do. We bought a rock wall, but are planning a clatter bridge, rock wall, and another fort.
We were thinking of getting another dog for inside, but we love the dog that we already have. He is VERY good with the kids. So we decided to make him an inside dog. Mind you he is 67 lbs and is a licking machine. He has done very well and has not had an accident since the 2nd day and this is day 7. I am sure we are not there, but he loves his kids. He has however ran off with socks, cuddled with Yin on the floor, and followed Yuri at every step he takes.
Rudy starts another Turn around on March 10th. We will see him again in 5- 6 weeks. UGH!
Have other great news, but will save it for another day!!!

Oh, so you leaving us hanging. . . I see how you are!
My prayers are with your brother; 14 months is a long time.
