Traveling South
This weekend we are traveling to visit with Rudy's parents. The kids are over the moon, and have only asked 27 times if it is time to go yet.
I should find out in about an hour if Rudy gets to go with us. Last weekend during the storms the power was shut of to the entire refinary. That is BAD! I am sure it will not help the gas prices. It seems that it takes 2 power plants at all times to keep it going so that this can't happen. Well one of the plants was getting hit really bad by storms contacted plant number 3 to come in and help. Power plant 3 said. We are ready, but .... they were not. So when Power plant one shut off it came down aka all production stopped. They had flames shooting out of the flare really really high.
Rudy was called out immediately, and honestly we have not seen him since. He work 20 hours that first day in 24 hour period which is a no no, and I told him to come home after 16. It is just not safe. He fell asleep on the way home and was off the road when he awoke. Thankfully God was watching over him because we need him here with us. ALOT!
Come home to us soon Rudy.
Oh- and due to the water issues. I travelled with Yin and Yuri to the launry mat in the next county. It wasn't too bad busy and HOT. I don't think I sat down the entire time, but I got 8 loads of laundry done in 2 hours not to bad.
Yes, you read that right 8 loads. That is for one week. Holy cow.
Yin just asked 9 times in a row "what how many we go Nene's?" I am guessing she want to know how many minutes. :)
