Bronze Star

My mom told me a few days ago that my brother was awarded a SECOND bronze star for his service in Iraq. Today he had the official award ceremony. He is going to send my mom the "details" of the events. I will post them when we know.

His first bronze star was awarded when he came upon a convoy that had hit roadside mines. He made his way in and administered medical attention, including starting an IV, to several of the injured and carried them out.

The squad he commands has done very well, and they were asked to stay and help train the new replacements.
