Family Fun with Friends

Yesterday we spent a good portion of the day Geocaching with Ed and Wana Wana. We started out the trip a little slow and got ran off of some land at a public bird sancutary, but soon we were on our way. Rudy bought a new program for the GPS. You are supposed to be able to enter in caches and it plan a route for you to take. We are still not sure what was going on with that thing. It tried to take us to a cache ten miles away instead of one that was 1 1/2 miles away??

On our trip we enjoyed taking our little car over a "low" water crossing, thru a field, and the backing way up becuase there was an even "deeper" low water crossing. Ed followed right behind in his brand new HHR. Talking about breaking a car in, we were probably on 40 miles of gravel roads yesterday.

A good time was had by all, but the best in when I got in the trunk of our car to attempt to open a cache container. I have never been in the trunk of a car. I guess I can cross that off the to do list. We also enjoyed the fun of driving off without Rudy a few times at one of the caches. Yin and Yuri were giggling like crazy.

We came home with 25 or 26 caches completed and a few to try for again. Yuri was very good at finding caches yesterday, as he came up with 5 finds! Tonight we are going to a Pizza party with many of the local cachers. I am sure that we will have a great time. Tonights party will be cache #800.

Rudy has some vacation in a week or so and we are thinking we might go hit somemore caches, since we had such a good time!

It was a really fun time. I cant wait for my turn in the trunk. Hopefully we will get that on figured out soon.

Like I said,"Friend help friend hide bodies, Real friends help friends hide caches."

    Happy caching!

Sounds like fun! Only I'd have to know how to use GPS...I can barely spell it!
