Eat Fresh

Today was a big day at the Rudy & Brando Palace. Yin moved from a toddler bed to Yuri's twin bed and Yuri got a new loft bed.

Lets just say that PLEASE NO ONE VISIT MY HOUSE FOR A LEAST TWO MORE DAYS!! It is a mess. I went thru all of Yin's clothes organized the drawers becuase it gave me a high, and then tackled a mountain of toys. Mt Toy is now 1/3 his orginal size. Yin's new bedding is so pretty and has little ponies on it. She LOVES it, and I do too.

We were wanting to get Yuri a loft bed near Chirstmas or build one, but Big Lot had a nice one at a reasonable price. We got it all put together and I am tackling his closet and toys. YIKES!!! My kids have too much stuff.

I even went though my own closet becuase really some of the pants I am never going to be able to wear again, and I have no more room. I am not sure if I will take it to the consignment or have a garage sale. I am not sure what to do with the cirb. Rudy assured me we are getting no more kids, but I quit taking the pill so you never know. ;) HA HA HA!!!! I am laughing my hind end off over that.

So that was our full day, including a visit from Pilot, who may still be here lost in the mess, but Needles hasn't called so he must have found his way out.

On the way home from picking up the bed we decided to stop at Subway, I had already cooked a huge chicken Veggie Stir Fry for lunch and was pooped. As we went into Subay Yin took one look at the door and said "EAT FRESH" which was written on the door and everywhere else in Subway. We have no idea how she knew the slogan. It was quite comical. So to all my faithful readers.

Eat Fresh!

Oh, and we saw a sign that said "French Lick, it's not what you think." I am still laughing over that one. French Lick is a town in Indiana that Larry Bird is from and the just opened a new casino, but that is funny.

Decided to keep the kids.

Well, I have decided not to sell the kids. They are still driving me a little loopy, but RUDY IS HOME!!!!

We traveled to E'ville on Saturday and had a nice family day out. We at a the Old Mill Inn. It is the oldest resturant in Indiana. We got to eat in the room where Lincoln visited in the 1800's. The old wooden walls and decor are just beautiful. The food is served family style, so we ate WAY to much. Yin was in mashed potatoe heaven.

Sunday, we cleaned out the fridge and the lower kitchen cabinets washing the cabinets inside and out. It needed done.

It has been uneventful here and that is the way that I like it.

We are having some issues with Immigration, but that is another post, and not a pretty one. Needless to say we may be making a trip to St. Louis on Monday to try and "find" some documents. I do not understand why NO federal buildings have phone numbers instead you are put through to a National Calling Center where all 4 different agents give you different answers. If I have I know of a terrorist plot, I bet they could find someone to take my call in under the 1 hours and 16 minutes that I waited on hold the first time. I have since made 4 other calls. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day and they will find the missing documents. Yeah, right!

To the Tune of

King of the Road.

Children for sale or rent
No room... they can live in tents
They cry, they whine, all day
Who wants to try and play?
Ah, a few hours of peace I pray
I going to get none today.
I'm a mom of the edge of losing
MY SANITY.
Can't share, who's to blame
Destination.... I'm insane.
They change their clothes and their shoes
About 1000 times til I'm blue.
They fight like a pack of sankes
there's only so much I can take
I'm a mom on the edge of losing
MY SANITY!
They know every little trick there is in the book
One screams No!
and the other gives me the look.
Please help save my sanity
and take these kids away from me.
I'm a Mom on the edge of losing
My SANITY!!

16 Years- Together

Yesterday was our anniversary, not our wedding anniversary, but the day we offically became a couple.

16 years later here we are. I am still in love with my husband and my best friend. I like to hold his hand and rub his leg with my foot. He is very generous and really pampers me. He is always bringing me things from the kitchen and understands that I need time just for myself, both of which may not seem like much, but these are very dear to me.

We love to bicker, and it is all in good fun any dedicated readers of his blog will have seen us in action. He likes to make fun of my mowing, but doesn't complain when the job is done. :)

He is a good daddy and I love him dearly.

Here's to 16 more years, and then 16 more.
