35 Years

Today is my parents 35 anniversary. We took them out to eat and had a nice time. The resturant people came and made them stand up while they sang to them. It was fun.

This past week I took Yin and Yuri to KY to Rudy's parents. We had a wonderful time of bible school, food, and golf cart rides. Papa How let Yuri drive and he was in HEAVEN!! I did not want to ride with him becuase he gets distracted. The days flew by and before I knew it we were home bound again. I am glad to be home.

Congrats to AUNTY Ragged. She has a beutiful new nephew!!

Yuri and I went to a Harry Potter Party with Hope and her neice and nephew. It was a relly good time and the magician was very funny. We got out book and headed home. I finished it yesterday, and it was VERY good. I thought that there was an in consistancy in the story, but a reread help with my issue. In the last series, I was reading there were 3 serious inconsistancy. It really bugs me when authors can't remember what they wrote. In the last book the man's name is Jared and twice I have found "Jake said". There is no JAKE in the story. Sorry just a pet peeve.

I expect this will be a slow week. We are helping with a Geocaching event next weekend for a few hours. My life is so boring.

Madder by the MINUTE!!

I am sitting here waiting for the Sears guy to come and work on our Fridge it died on July 1st. You know the old we will be there sometime between 8 am and 5pm. I am fumming mad!!! Why can't they give you a stinking time!

I feel like there is about 1000 things that I should be doing, but Alas I am waiting.

UPDATE: 2PM

6 hours and still waiting!!

Update: 3:20pm

STILL WAITING!!! They have 1 hour and 40 mintues!!

Update 3:59

He will arrive in the next few minutes. Arrived at 4:05 and was here 15 mintues. He will have to come back next week to fix it. I will be at NeNe and Papa How's so Rudy has to take a vacation day!!! UGH! It is the compressor which we told them, but they have to order the part.

I need Iced Tea!!

TO the tune of Walking in Memphis

Put on my Tennis shoes and

I picked up a can

Threw it in the Wal-mart bag

and worked on my tan.

Yeah, I got some really good ones

on my 2 mile walk tonight.

Its a long way and I'm still not tan.

Saw a couple bats

and a car and truck or two

We keep right on walkin'

until the kids were more than through.

Now Walyon started panting

and Yin was chatting alot

but Yuri and Rudy were looking high and low

cause cans are hard to spot.

But, when will I ever get a tan?

We have decided that we are going to go to Disney on pop cans. We have been walking and collecting and a few people are collecting for us.

I realize that this is probably impossible unless we go to a Nascar race and collect beer cans, but tonight we walked 2 1/2 miles and got a Wal-mart bag full. We took Waylon and it was a great walk.

I hope that we can keep walking each evening. Tomorrow we will have to take another route.

Also this along with trying not to use papertowels and eco friendly light bulbs is our small part on helping our planet.

Eventful

That is the only way that I can describe the last few days.

Nene and Papa How came on Thursday and we had a great visit.

On Friday, they watched Yin and Yuri so that my mom and I could take one of the horses for a procedure at the vets. During the course of the procedure, Two Days, the horse, became unrully and an pulled back and flung himself and his head. He whipped his head with such force. It came back against a pipe fence and my moms arm was in between his head and the fence and it broke her arm into a horrible U shape.

The vet threw us into his truck and off to the ER we went. He sent his wife later to check on my mom. They had to do some adjustments, to say the least, and put a cast on with surgery scheduled for today.

We arrived at the hospital this Am a little tired and alot nervous. God Bless Nene and Papa How, as they stayed so that I would have a sitter. I did have a few people lined up but it was 4 people all for a few hours at different times. They took my mom back at around 8:30 and the surgery was about 2 hours. She did very well, but was really sick to her stomach when she came out. I have had a few surgeries and each time I am so sick to my stomach when they are done.

My dad just called and said that they are on their way home. I hope that she is able to rest and that her work leaves her ALONE.

In other news, we had a WONDERFUL visit with Pinto, "L", Ragged, Cynical, Hope, and Jenny from the Block. It was a great weekend.

Oh, and in further news, our refridgerator died over the weekend. They can not come until the 10th to look at it. He said that they would then have to order parts and come back in a few weeks. I cannot imagine a month without a fridge.
