Do the lumpdy-lump?

I have been busy today cleaning out Yin's closet for the next season. She has ALOT of clothes. I used to have alot, but I must admit girls clothes are my weekness.

Tonight is AI and LOST, I am excited!

In other news, for some reason I am still tired, I can't seem to get some pep.

MAYBE BE TMI:

Also I have found a small lump on hindend cheek? I go to a doctor that I worked with as a friend for 3 years, and I told him I would never go to him for something that involved me taking down my pants. SOOOO..... I asked my resident medic... aka Pilot only ASKED. His eyes would burn out if he had to see my fat behind. He gave me some ideas, but I am going to keep watch on it for a while.

EBATES- Rocks

I told several people about Ebates at Christmas. It is a company that you go to and earn money back on purchased. They have 1000's of stores, GAP, KOHLS, Target, Tiger Direct, Spirit Halloween, Dicks Sporting Goods (we just got some disney crocs), Overstock, and they always have all the current coupons and %'s off dicounts that are available at that store. Some stores don't offer percents back, but at least you have the code and coupons

Well, I just got my money two weeks ago. I got back $89.14 depostited into my paypal. Not to bad on things that we were going to purchase anyway. I even got some money with my friend Julia signed up under me. She got her check mailed to her for $42.00.

There is no fee and right now is double enrollment. So here is my link to enroll:

http://www.ebates.com/doublebonusoffer/index.htm?promotion_code=DBOSU10&id=31521330

To start getting money back all you do is find the store you want to buy from and click on it. It takes you there thru a tracking link and make your purchase. The money back will show up in your account with 1 to 14 days, but I have noticed that it usually shows up when the item ships.

I already have $23.00 for next time. (We joined netflix and got back 18.00)

Anyway... I am cheap hopefully some of you are too!

Star Trek HELP!!!!!

Okay, I have been forced to watch Enterprise for the last few weeks. In the current episode there are a bunch of Klingons.... and what do they look like???? THIS:

See big wrinkled forehead... However...

Enterprise is supposed to take place a few maybe 50 years after Zephram Cochrane... Yes, I am an NERD... Anyway, in the original Star Trek Klingons looked like this...

A REGULAR MAN....

Well, I would not be making a big deal of this but the Orignal Star Trek took place at least 200 years after Enterprise. I watched DS9. I saw them go back on the Trouble with Tribbles and the people said the Klingons were there and the crew looked around condfused. Someone pointed out the Klingons and they all looked at Worf, who I LOVE, anywho.... back on track... They all look at Worf and were like WHAT happened???? He said it is not something we like to talk about.

How can they look like the new Klingons and then the old Klingons and then the new? And not be in order. Did the makers of Enterprise really think that no one would notice this?? I am not the brightest Star Trek fan, and I noticed Immediately. Maybe some of the really smart trekkies can help me out!

OH!!! Early B'day to Cynical!! We have a present that I was supposed to mail out last week. Hope you b'day is a great one!

Weekend Recap

Well for most of the weekend I was sick with the yuckies coming from both ends. Yeah, I know Too Much Information.

On Saturday, I was feeling a little better and took Yin and Yuri to Burger King. We ate lunch and then played in the play area. There is no ball pit, so that makes me happy. I told them that they could play for 15 minutes, then 10 mintues, then 5 minutes, and then at 1 minute. Yin decided she wanted to go down the slide. Well, it is a little too big for her to climb up in, but Yuri being the big helper that he is, he lifted her. She loved being in the tunnels and slide down the slide FAST! She just giggled and wanted to do it again. It appeared to be raining. I said, no, we were going to Wal-mart. I went outside and it was freezing rain, sleet balls... So we went home. Within a few hours all the fields around us were flooded, and the water was over the road. I was sure that we needed to build an Ark. It howled and blew!! WoW! Talk about storm of the century.

On Sunday, everyone was well and we finally we to the grocery store. We had 2 gallons of expired milk. One had 1/8th left it was Chocolate, and one had 1/4th left and it was white. Yuri had to use Princess Milk aka Pink Milk for his cereal. No one felt well enough to use the milk, and I DO NOT drink Milk. Further, all expired products are thrown away immediately for fear of bad eggs. We went to Wal-mart and got most of the stuff, then we went to eat Chinese. It was kind of a waste, no one ate much, except Yin who loves her "lice" aka rice. Then off to Save-A-lot for can goods. Why is creamed corn $.49 cents at Wal-Mart and only $.39 at S-A-L? This is where I get almost all my canned goods, they are much cheaper... Usually. After that we made a quick stop at Buehlars for soda for Rudy, and then we were home to unload an entire van full of stuff.

All in all, it was a very uneventful weekend. I did finish reading my new JD Robb, murder mystery, but that was about it. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

A night or two away

Tonight we are travelling to the work home of Needlefingers with our best pals Hope and Mei Mei's daddy. We are going to an International Students Dinner. The theme is Chinese New year. Last year Hope and I went to the Korea/Japanese dinner and it was great. They provide a meal and entertainment. Since we have someone special coming from China, I am ready to learn as much as I can about the country/culture. We are also planning to attend the Korea/Japanese dinner again. Needlefingers went out of her way to get us the tickets. So THANKS Needles!

Tomorrow is the annual Sweethearts getaway sponsered by Rudy and MeiMei daddy's work. We went last year and it was my first night away from Yin since her arrival. This will be my second night away from her. I am antsy. Last year we drove the kids to KY to Nene's and Papa's for a sitter. This year my mom and dad are going to be watching the kids. Pray for a good night by all!

This year proves to have plenty of fun. Hope and MeiMei's daddy are going also. These are my most favorite travel partners. We have travelled on many short trips and a few long trips and as long as part of the group stay away from bag lettuce, we have a GREAT time.

We have several stores that Rudy and I plan to visit. I can hardly contain myself with the excitement of shopping child free. No one asking for toys, books, or to go past the free food lady over and over and over again at Sam's. Okay, no one asking if I can control Rudy.

We interrupt you regular scheduled broadcast for.... YIN peed in the potty.... This may contain TMI for some of you. While on the potty, she began to pee. We clapped, but then something in my mind clicked. Push Yin! Push! Then I saw something in her brain click. She pushed she pottied! She went three times last night, and managed to stay dry for 4 hours! It is hyserical to see her try and pull up her panties. Can you say THONG, THONG, THONG... If she could really get this going Pampers might go broke!

I hope that everyone has a great weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. My hunny bunches of O's got me Milky Way bars. They are my favorite!

Yin and Yuri were home all day and I WILL NEVER HOMESCHOOL MY KIDS! The are not big fighters, but today they fought until I sent them both to bed. When they woke up we made Valentine's for Daddy.

Hope everyone has a great day!

2 years ago today....

This will probably be the only pic you ever see of me on my blog. This was about 5 seconds after they placed Yin in my arms. She is wearing a blue outfit becuase she threw up a few times on the plane, and this was one of the other kids outfits.

Here is Yuri meeting his sis...

Yin arrived with a Mohawk. As we left the airport, I had her in a snuggly and a blanket over her head each time. I would look down to make sure that she was really here she would giggle. Her giggle was the sweetest sound. We placed here in the car and she just looked and looked at Yuri all the way out of Chicago she kept her eyes on him. I wonder if she had ever seen other kids. I know she had probably never seen a little kid like Yuri- Ukrainian. Hee Hee.

Yuri could make her laugh and smile like we never could. Happy Gotcha Day to my little Yin!
